Jim Thompson is a multi-Emmy winning producer with an eclectic list of credits ranging from historical documentaries to animated children’s shows. He has written and produced for some of television’s biggest stars including Mike Tirico, Tom Brokaw, Cris Collinsworth, Meredith Vieira, Katie Couric, Maria Taylor and Ryan Seacrest. He is the Supervising Producer for Football Night in America, the most watched studio show in the country. For the past three years he’s served as the Coordinating Producer for NBC Olympics’ sponsored content unit, helping to generate over $1 billion in sales each Olympiad. Additionally, he is a regular contributor to NBC’s Athlete Profiles group, the Sunday Night Football team and is producer of a long list of special projects such as the United States Olympic Museum’s signature film and Michael Phelps: Medals, Memories and More one of Peacock’s first Olympic programs.
